“This must be the most complicated city in the world.”

(From The Human Resources Manager, directed by Eran Riklis, based on A. B. Yehoshua’s book A Woman in Jerusalem)

To mark 13 years of activity of the Film and Television Fund of the Jerusalem Development Authority, lovers of Jerusalem and film are invited to join these magical tours to follow poems and stories about Jerusalem, some of the city’s cinemas, and films shot here. Along the way, we will discover hidden secrets behind the words and the scenes, read excerpts from literary works, and watch—at the filming locations themselves—scenes shot throughout Jerusalem.

(a small spoiler: you will also discover that the Rex cinema actually exists)

The project is the initiative of the Jerusalem Development Authority and the Mishkenot Sha'ananim Cultural Center and is part of the Jerusalem Film Festival.
